well i would like to wear them, but if other people are going to be completely affronted by it, i would rather not. the design is very beautiful (i’ve always been intrigued by hinduism, just because of the beauty of it and all the colors and stories!!!), but this is something a group of people consider to be of utmost importance in their lives, and offending them like this is just kind of insensitive and stupid and ignorant i guess

a part of me doesn’t really understand this because i don’t have any strong religious or even racial affiliations (does this make sense don’t call me racist or anything i know it’s real shut up) and i’ve never been offended or insulted in a manner like this because i’m kind of oblivious to it all but in all honesty it would be stupid go out and wear this after reading/seeing how strong a negative reaction it provoked in someone that’s just rude (and sTUPid)
